Spring has sprung and we are officially heading into bridal season. The weather is warming up, the trees are blooming and love is in the air. I had the honor of hosting one of my best friends showers this weekend and went with the citrus “She found her Main Squeeze” theme. We focused more on oranges, but incorporated lemons and grapefruits as well 🧡
There are many ways you can incorporate a citrus theme for your next party. Here are a few of my favorite orange/citrus inspired themes for your next event:
If you’re hosting a baby shower I love the “a little cutie is on it’s way” theme
Adult birthday party: “another year older, another year zestier”

Invites + Stationery
I found an invite template along with corresponding advice cards and games to ensure all paper goods were cohesive with each other. I brought the color palette into the invites to give the guests an idea of the party vibe as well.
You can snag the invitations here & the games/advice cards here. It was so sweet to see the date night ideas and advice the other guests left for the Bride to Be. Something she will be able to go through with her fiancè and cherish for a long time. THE CROWD FAVORITE game was guest BINGO. I 10/10 recommend doing a game like this that encourages everyone to get chatting and with an ice breaker. After this game, everyone kept chatting throughout the afternoon and made new friends in the process.
Table Scape
Soft pink toile linen to perfectly pair with white crossback chairs made for a stunning springtime brunch. Thankfully we live where there is an abundance of local flower farmers who host local growers pops up and I was able to use soley locally grown blooms for the arrangements. These flowers really elevated the whole party. Freshly sliced citrus in between the arrangements and custom orange slice name tags were the perfect touch to bring the table scape together.
My girl Scribble & Script hand lettered each place card for me; these are the little details that truly make all the difference!
There isn’t much to say as these “main squeeze” signs speak for themselves. I CANNOT get over how they embodied the party and added the perfect touch to elevate this brunch celebration (and to think I almost didn’t add the sign to the backdrop!!!)
